Pittsburgh Pirates-Minnesota Twins game experiences in-game drone delay

The 2020 MLB season has already been full of strange moments and plenty of delays. Tuesday’s game between the Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates took things to another level when a drone flew over the field and caused a delay.

One of the strangest moments in baseball came in the middle of the fifth inning with Twins ace José Berríos on the mound and looking to throw a shutdown inning. After recording the first two outs, umpires called everyone off the field when a drone was spotted flying over them.

Boys will be boys: The Pirates bullpen, with a bucket of balls, tried unsuccessfully to bring it down.
