Cardboard fans.

Dodger Stadium, behind home plate, first row,
the blond with the sunglasses in her hair:
is that DeDe Lind?

How about a cutout of Bob Uecker in the far corner of the
third deck like in the Miller Lite Beer commercial.

Mr. O and I still say “He missed the tag!” when we watch a game.

A cutout of Bob way up in the nosebleed seats would be perfect.

I'm not picking on the poor guy. It just seems right that the Marlins would celebrate his presence, even though the Cubs didn't help themselves the rest of that inning.

Maybe the Cubs can bring him back the way the Red Sox brought Bill Buckner back.

when the first cutouts first started appearing.

I totally forgot about the commercial, but I laughed because, well, it's Bob Uecker....

warped minds think alike.

Alas, I moved from NorCal 18 months ago to SE Arizona so I
can no longer listen to the guys do Giants games.

That fact, alone, makes this old fart feel really, really old because it seems like just yesterday I was listening to Russ Hodges and Lon Simmons.

My brush with greatness: I delivered Russ Hodges afternoon newspaper in Mill Valley back in the sixties

I thought he was becoming an old fart and I looked him up. I was gobsmacked to discover we are the same age!
