the lasting effects on his play are really noticeable. He is the first to admit he has no where near the energy level but still trying to play. The fact is, this kid probably has some heart damage from COVID and his playing days might be over. This is the risk with COVID, it has lasting side effects that we know little about. This will explode with athletes as high schools and colleges as well as all other professional sports resume action. Be prepared for 1000's of Moncada's to happen. Like trump says, who gives a fuck about them?

(12,749 posts)NO ONE seems to want to talk about. The fact that COVID studies from countries around the world report that as many as 70% of everyone who recovers from this virus comes away with some sort of permanent damage to their organs: lungs, hearts, kidneys, brains.
Even if we get "herd immunity" the elephant in the room is the future health damage to the population and the knock on effect on our healthcare system and workforce.
You DON'T want to get this. You DON'T want your children to get this.
