Has a player from the losing team in a World Series ever won the MVP Award?

According to Wikipedia ....

Bobby Richardson of the 1960 New York Yankees is the only player in World Series history to be named MVP despite being on the losing team.

**** I thought an argument could be made to award it to the Rays’ Randy Arozarena....

Congratulations to the Dodgers and the city of Los Angeles on your two 2020 world championships! Lakers and Dodgers!

IMO, Mookie Betts should be the winner just based on the "save" catches he made. TruckFump Oct 2020 #1
I really thought he had a good shot at MVP too. Ohiogal Oct 2020 #2

I could not believe my eyes on this. Since I was DVR'ing the games, I got to play back his leaps into the air. I swear, Betts has jet streams in the bottom of his shoes.

One of the best free-agent signings in recent years! He’s just an amazing player.
