The Indians are still being called Indians by the sports media and not the Cleveland baseball team..

like the Washington football team is referred to. Has anyone heard if the team has decided on keeping the "Indians" name? I've been a fan for years and was glad to see the Chief Wahoo logo go. "Indians" seems neutral and not derogatory like the old R-word for the Washington football team was.

They are going to move my favorite sports team that I never saw win a title.

loses in '97 and '95, and they always seem to trade away their best players—Lindor, Sabathia, Ramirez who go on to help other teams win World Series.

Now moving rumors. It's too much.

Like Cleveland...to be so good and so close for so long and never get there. The Cubs had one good run and won it in only deep run

Moving the team is news to me. That would be terrible.

This franchise is a charter member of the American League.

Problem is MLB's lack of true revenue sharing and salary cap.

Cleveland is not alone. Kansas City, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis/St. Paul, etc. can't compete with the media billions awarded to Yankees and Dodgers.

Small market teams are just fodder for large market teams, and the fans have had enough.
