Don't you find it odd the Giants are doing well with LaStella and Belt on IR? Auggie Jun 2021 #2

It's going to be a long slog to the finish line and the Padres are going to win by a nose.

I'm cool with that as long as the Giants come in second with the Dodgers in a distant third.

The National League (West) is where it's all happening this season!

Granted, I miss their defense. But we're scoring more runs without them.

Who sits when they return? Or do we trade for MUCH NEEDED BULLPEN HELP?

The SF Giants have the best winning streak in MLB, winning eight of their last ten games.

Boy howdy, the top of the ninth was ugly for the Giants, no?

"Likely shoulder/collarbone injury" for Longoria, according to the Chronicle.

A lengthy stint on IR would make for an easier roster decision once Belt returns. Longoria's defense would be missed, of course, as would his bat. Opportunity for Vosler (L) and Flores (R) at third.

Dubon ... good grief.
