Justin Verlander continues to defy time.

That he wears an Astros hat on his Hall of Fame plaque? It's seriously not out of the realm. He's headed toward his second Cy Young with the team and has already won a World Series with them (albeit tainted) and has been to the World Series as many times with them as he did in Detroit.

Just think, once upon a time Detroit had both Verlander and Scherzer on their pitching staff. Wow

Scherzer will be the first to win a Nats hat on his plaque.

They couldn’t get it done. They even had Price as a rental.
