Than both of them.

Won player of the decade for the sixties, was a better fielder, base stealer, the only player to hit 50 hr in a season 10 years apart, lost 2 seasons to the army, was hitting in Candlestick( go check the original dimensions) and still hit 660 hrs. Aaron had a longer career but in no way was he a better player. Even Davey Johnson held the hr record for 2nd baseman(42) for close to 50 years. They called Fulton County stadium the launching pad. Aaron never hit more than 44 hrs in a single season.

(9,167 posts)6. I did look at it.
So as I have said to others.: Mays in a regular ball park and no military time hits 800 dingers.
I think if Cards did not break Albert's heart by low-balling him (4th place each time) maybe he gives Mays a run for the 800 in a fair baseball world.
I read too quickly on edit.
