NLCS

Did anybody see this matchup coming, especially during the summer? I think a lot of people would’ve looked at you funny if you thought it’d be the Phillies and the Padres going for the right to represent the NL on the World Series.

The Dodgers have the #1 payroll in MLB but San Diego is no slouch at #5. And Los Angeles has a weak bullpen. And any team's bats can go cold at any time.

But the Phillies? Never would have guessed that and I don't know anyone who figured that Philly would make it to the NLCS.

During the summer when the Dodgers were giving it to the Padres but good?

It shows you how October is a brand new game.

The Dodgers owned the Padres during the season, but the playoffs are a different animal. Anything can happen in a short series.

When it was 3-0 in the top of the seventh.

Funny enough, I actually dreamt the Padres came back and won, 45-31.

Great game. Both the Guardians and the Padres coming alive in a single inning and grabbing the lead to win.

Then your dream score would have been accurate 5 Padres and 3 Dodgers!

NY Houston LA and Atlanta

Houston’s through but hopefully the evil empire ends tonight.

Not that Philly and SD aren’t major markets but they aren’t LA or the team of the south - Atlanta.

Only 1st place teams in each division should vie for world series.
I realize it's awkward since there's an odd number of divisions. LA had a 22 game lead on SD and was 14-5 during regular season. Now LA loses the whole damn thing because of only one series. Just seems ridiculous.

Playoffs mean TV money. Even college football has a playoff now.
