Dodgers reported offer declined by Aaron Judge revealed
According to one MLB reporter, free agent outfielder Aaron Judge turned down an offer from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
There have been a few free agency signings so far this offseason, but the big domino that has yet to fall is outfielder Aaron Judge. The New York Yankees star is coming off a historic season, setting the single-season American League home run record, and won the AL MVP award. Now, he is set to cash in on a gigantic contract, and it will be up to him who he chooses to sign with.
According to MLB reporter Ramon D. Carmona, the Los Angeles Dodgers offered Judge a $214 million contract this week, which he and his agent turned down.

He meets with the Giants early next week.
The rumor mills are working overtime: Aaron Judge becoming a Giant is more than just a pipe dream; Zaidi is putting together a genuine realistic offer and Judge will be receptive.
This Giants fan could get used to seeing the number 99!

Bad news for SF Giants: Yankees are not messing around with Aaron Judge

The last we checked in on Aaron Judge, he was taking an extended visit with the Giants while home in Northern California over Thanksgiving. The Giants were reportedly "elated" with how the meeting went after pulling out all the stops to impress Judge.
As it turns out, they might not be the only ones elated with how free agency is going. Judge has an enormous offer in hand from the Yankees, ESPN reported Wednesday morning. The Yankees have offered Judge "in the neighborhood of eight years and $300 million," according to ESPN. Here's perhaps the more important part of the report: The Yankees "could increase it, depending on how far the San Francisco Giants ... are willing to push the market."
The reported offer means that Judge made one of the best decisions in sports history last spring when he turned down a seven-year, $213 million offer from New York. He went on to hit 62 homers and win American League MVP in one of the best offensive seasons in baseball history, so exceeding that offer was assured. But it may have taken the Giants' interest to drive his contract into the stratosphere.
Eght years and $300 million as a starting point means that Judge will certainly break Mike Trout's record for a position player's average annual salary. The only questions left are by how much and how soon.
