I’m no expert but it might just not be visible along their normal flight paths or something is drawing them elsewhere

in the area might 'meet up' with geese who've taken over 'my' big nest.

I suspect they've studied owls enough to have decided to place it here.

I suppose it’s possible, depending on the area and if the geese aren’t migrating… I’ve just never thought about the two types cohabiting?

The whole aggressive mother goose aspect can be real sometimes

I'm pleased to be located where nature is valued, and our government agencies attend to the interests of those wild ones with which we cohabit; the COUNTY established this owl box.

Yeah it’s hard for me to recall which aspect of which management type is handled by which level of government all the time, but that makes sense.

There was a lawn care ad I saw the other day and I couldn’t help but think of some hilarious lyrics related to geese doing their business on the lawn sung to some classical music but I digress, just juvenile humor, can’t remember which song it was either but I heard it a million times. Still funny.

Anyway. It’s been ages since I’ve been up there. I flew into DC last fall but it was just on my way to Charlotte based on the ticket. What counties are your favorites?
