Is that a great blue heron in the last 2? I love them, they are so majestic! I even have a shirt with a heron on it:

(4,148 posts)5. Near my house, next to the river, there is a spot where a Heron hangs out with a 'wake' of vultures.
(I had to look up the name of a flock of vultures).
I tried to get a photo yesterday so i could post it on DU, but they seem to think that taking a picture would steal their souls!
I'll try again another day!
