wood thrushes this June? We used to be serenaded every evening, but this year they haven’t been singing. We’re in the mountains of Georgia.

… in woodsy places of southern MI, but that’s far fewer than usual. Used to hear them nearly every outing in the woods here. But I don’t get outside nearly as often as I used to…

I hope this is a case like in the past where you have a bad season for a certain species and then they find a way to regroup. I dearly love the sound of the wood thrushes.
