3. I LOVE watching Ospreys!

A State Park at the beach in Delaware has an "Osprey Cam" that you can watch 24-7. One time (out of the hundreds of times I watched it) I saw a parent bring back a fish for the babies.

There's a thunderstorm in Lewes right now, apparently. I guess you have to open it in YouTube if you're interested....

21. I'm worried, though

I thought I saw one baby moving yesterday. Today (you can scroll backwards 12 hours I think) I think I see a baby that isn't moving. Both parents were fluttering about, but I'm not sure what happened. But definitely last night momma was sitting on a baby in the middle of the nest. Now the non-moving baby is near the top right, near the edge. Parents check on the baby a lot. So sad

22. OMG

About 2 hours ago, both parents had left the nest but got back around the same time. One was carrying some stems and then it looks--to me--like they started burying their baby. Both stand there an d look at the baby, one of the birds tweating away. I feel like they were having a service for the baby

a truly good location for practice. AMAZING that they'll all head south, to south/central America (Mexico? Cuba? Florida?) in September!

There's a sibling getting ready to stick his/her head up too. Sadly, seems the 3rd kid hasn't made it.

saw 2 chicks earlier Tuesday, only one Tues evening, and only see one Wednesday (morning and early afternoon.)

16. I see only one head but I wonder if

the other one is laying down behind it.
I don't know much about Ospreys but in raptor nest it is not unusual for the oldest chick to kill or toss the others out.
Sometime the parents kill or eject the less strong if they feel there are too many mouths to feed.
This way they have a better chance at fledging a healthy strong baby. I'll keep looking let me know if you see both.
