The Winnipeg QB, Zach Collaros, may be out - he failed to come out for Winnipeg's last possession appearing to have a leg problem
They are playing in Regina next Sunday at 5PM EST. I believe one of the ESPNs will carry it in the US.

(5,076 posts)Was hoping for snow during the game, but it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate.
I'll be switching over at some point to watch, especially if the 4 pm NFL games are boring. ESPN2 will be showing the game in the States, and will even halve a one-hour pre-game show at 5:30 EST.
I have no dog in the fight, so here's hoping for a good game.

(63,213 posts)There is a piece of me that still cheers fr the Blue Bombers because:
I am from Iowa and way back in time a quarterback by the name of Kenny Ploen (pronounced plain) went to Winnipeg and became a big star. As an under teen at the time Kenny Ploen was about as big of a star as you could imagine. And in Iowa City, you could see him around town like a normal human. Pretty heady for a little kid.
So I still cheer for the Blue Bombers.
But other than that I just don't care for American pro football very much. Love college, but can't stand the pros. But I do like the Canadian game with their rules that force a more wide open game.

(5,076 posts)I should be cheering for Winnipeg. Their QB, Collaros, is from Ohio and went to the University of Cincinnati.
I usually watch the CFL season when it opens, but once the NFL pre-season begins, closely followed by college ball, I tend to forget all about it until the Grey Cup comes around. Flipping channels last week I saw the division finals and made a note to watch today.
