Texan bets $2 million Cowboys beat 49ers

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale is known for betting massive lumps of cash on his Texas sports teams, and the NFL playoffs are no exception.

The 71-year-old retail furniture store owner bet $2 million on the Dallas Cowboys to beat the 49ers in the divisional round Sunday at Levi's Stadium. He placed the wager at Caesars Sportsbook at Horseshoe Lake Charles in Louisiana, using all cash.

If the Cowboys upset the 49ers, Mattress Mack would pocket $3,350,000, plus the $2 million he wagered.

This is going to be a great game! I admit I'm a fair weather Niners fan . I was into it when Montana was the boss, I liked it when it when Young was doing his thing , but I admit, my interest drops off when they aren't winning.

(I miss Eddie btw. I don't know about the rest of his life, but he sure had fun in football!)

49ers QB Brock whats-his-name, fresh out of college, last in the draft, 1st season, deep-reserve backup to two other QBs who went down with injuries, comes in, and not only wins his first game, but five in a row. Phenom.

Now we get to see how he does under pressure that increases geometrically with each game, this next one against a fired-up Cowboys, pining for the time they were "Americas team'. They looked good in their last game, better than in the one before--which they won, of course, or they wouldn't be here. And they're playing the 49ers, representing that hotbed of liberalism and depravity, San Francisco! This isn't just good football, it's almost Shakespearean!

I bought a mattress a couple of years ago that would have been free if the Astros won the World Series. I probably overpaid..

I am still mad at the asshole for the ads he did in the Harris County Judge race. Mac was a racist asshole in these commercials.

I'd feel sick losing just a $50 bet. Good thing I don't gamble, outside of my diet, anyway.
