What a game Quinn Ewers and Texas had. He threw some deep passes, Texas had an outstanding pass rush. Yeah, there were some drops that wouldve been touchdowns, but man.
Alabama saw multiple touchdowns come back off penalties. They werent disciplined, just a lot breaking down.
Texas, that might just be their biggest win since Vince Young against USC.
Thats the first time the Longhorns have knocked off a top three team on the road since 1969. Let me welcome Texas to the top 10 this week.
What a game. Do you think the Longhorns mightve attracted some recruits with that one?
Thats got to be the biggest win of Sarks career.

(3,374 posts)Wow. Defeating a top-three team on the road is not easy, but I am surprised that this is the first such victory for UT since 1969.

(8,348 posts)I think Sark is one of the best offensive minds in the country and both teams have top-notch talent. Ewers had a really good game and looked much more poised.
Alabama had too many penalties but I think the biggest issue for them was Milroe is just not a confident passer. Even when he reads the defense well he is hesitant to throw the ball and not that accurate. He has a tendency to drop his head and run, sometimes into his own pass defense. I wouldn't be surprised if Ty Simpson replaced him.
I thought the Texas O line did an excellent job and the Bama defense didn't do that bad but they were on the field too long. In today's game you have to get off the field after three downs or someone like Sark will test you every time.
All in all a good start to the college season.
