Did Chicago almost beat Detroit today?

1. Lions are on a roll right now.

And they rolled right over Chicago.

2. Bears had a 9 pt lead with under 5 min to play

They tried to run down the clock too early, bad play calls. Were 3 pts down with 30+ seconds to go, Fields lost the ball, wich went thru end zone for a safety. Shitty coaching IMHO.

3. But its amazing that they played so well against the Lions.

5. It was mostly Fields. The Lions just had no answer for him for most of the game.

Fortunately, he doesn't also play defense.

4. Detroit turned the ball over four times

with three of those being Goff throwing a pick. Also, it seemed like every time the Detroit defense made a third down stop, the zebras threw laundry. Still, with just a few minutes remaining and the score 23-14 Chicago, Goff threw a long TD. Chicago got the ball back but was forced to punt, and Detroit promptly scored another TD to make it 23-29 (on one of those two TDs they went for two and were successful. Then, with under a minute remaining and deep in Chicago territory, Fields was hit and fumbled the ball and a Chicago lineman kicked it out of the back of the end zone for a safety to make the final score 23-31.

It was a damned exciting finish, unless you're a Bears fan
