Aggies star Johnny Manziel has a Longhorns tattoo

In just one season in Aggieland, Johnny Manziel has become an A&M icon.

<<<snip>>>

So it’s probably to the horror of Aggie fans everywhere to learn that their Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback has a tattoo of their longtime rival.

Busted Coverage posted a photo today that shows the signal caller sporting a Texas Longhorns logo on his shirtless body while hanging out with friends in Cabo San Lucas for spring break.

While the tattoo could be a fake or the handy work of someone with Photoshop, it’s worth noting that Johnny Football grew up a Longhorns fan and longed to play on the 40 Acres as detailed in his bio written by Brent Zwerneman on A&M’s athletics’ website.

People really take these things too seriously. As long as Manziel continues to play for Texas A&M, and does so well, why should Aggie fans care?

Plus, the Longhorns and Aggies aren't even in the same conference anymore.

It's the principle of the thing, in the midst of a fierce rivalry. If you don't understand, you probably never will.
