Patrick Mahomes is the new Michael Jordan. He's blocking Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Tua...

Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts and all the other pretenders from winning a Super Bowl, just as Michael stopped Charles Barkley, Carl Malone, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Shaq and Penny with the Magic, and Reggie Miller from winning an NBA championship.

Mahomes is the new roadblock to other QBs, just a Tom Brady was for years. Some sports commentators today on "First Take" are saying that Mahomes has surpassed Brady. IMO that's premature, in fact Brady turned Mahomes back in his first Super Bowl bid.

and suggest that the Chiefs franchise is the roadblock to the Ravens, Bills, Dolphins, etc. Football is too much a team sport to single out one player, even one as important as the QB.

Besides the on-field talent, success is a function of coaching, philosophy, the kind of players the front office acquires and how they are managed from year to year. Right now the Chiefs have it together, just as the Patriots did for so many years, the 49ers did in the 80s, and the Steelers in the mid-to-late 70s.

and has led his team to 6 straight AFC championship games and this will be his 4th Super Bowl appearance.

Yesterday against Lamar Jackson, and his play against Tua and Josh Allen in previous weeks, showed again that he's the top QB. Thank you very much.

Again, make your own posts, don't try to dictate to me what to post.

Got it?

It takes an entire team.

Anything anyone posts here is open for discussion. Been that way since Day One.

was to several BB superstars...Barkley, Malone, Miller, Ewing etc...blocking their way to championships.

Suggest another QB or player who dominated over their prospective sport like Jordan did (possibly Brady even before him), but don't tell me what I should post.
