Tonight: Oakland Raiders vs Chicago Bears
Yeah its pre season, but I am excited!! GO Raaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiders!
The late game on Friday night in the 2013 NFL Preseason will see the Chicago Bears travel west to take on the Oakland Raiders. The game is scheduled for a 10 p.m. EST start time and it will be televised live in both markets. Currently the odds for the game have the Bears as road favorites.
Both teams enter this contest with 1-1 records so far this preseason. Obviously one of the teams will be able to improve on their record, and it could be either club. It's a bit surprising to see the Bears as favorites on the road. They dropped their only other road game this preseason, 24-17 at Carolina to open the 2013 campaign. Oakland was able to win their opener against the Dallas Cowboys, 19-17.
Oakland gave up a ton to get Matt Flynn, their next "answer" at quarterback. In reality he's got about as much experience as Terrelle Pryor, but Flynn is in the mold of a great NFL quarterback. He's had a shaky start to the preseason, but remember, he only threw for 68 yards last season. He'll probably play a bit more tonight as he continues to work with his offense. Darren McFadden is one of the better backs in the league when he is healthy and surely will help in Flynn's progression into a solid NFL quarterback.
The Chicago Bears have had their quarterback for awhile now and Jay Cutler still looks like himself. He's thrown interceptions in both of the Bears' games this preseason compared to just a single touchdown last

No Mcfadden tonight, but he will be available for the first game of the season. This is gonna be fun!
