No football season is complete without one. This is the first November snow game in my feeble memory.

I understood there was gonna be rain mixed with snow flurries; I never thought it would stick, and boy howdy, it stuck.

16. Aaron Rodgers is a bona fide has-been - Fellow Cal alumni, Jared Goff is the new kid on the block

I saw Jared Goff play at UCB, but I admit I was mostly watching UCLA running back, Myles Jack do his thing.

He started as a linebacker, but as a running back, he was force to reckon with.

I saw the pic on ESPN and thought DAMN!

15 years ago my buddies and I were in Vegas 2 weeks before Christmas (we got a deal). Saturday after dinner we got back to the rooms and someone clicks on the Weather Channel. Mountain bikers love leaving TWC on as background which bugs the crap out of one of my friends so we change the channel. We go out for the night and I see the Jets Browns game over under is crazy low like 35 so I drop $50 on over. Sunday morning at the sports book I see one of the screens is all white. Is the TV out? No I see these orange and green dots moving around the screen. BLIZZARD in Cleveland. Final score was 8-3 or something like that.

15. I can relate to this post on multiple levels

Been to Vegas twice (that's enough for me, BTW).

My sports bets generally go up in smoke, so I place few of them.

When my mom died in 2013, I took an unpaid leave from work to be there with her and dad as she was in decline from terminal cancer. She passed on Dec. 11 and I thought, I can't leave dad alone this Christmas, so I stayed with him until after the holidays. Let me tell ya, he left the TV on TWC or some news highlights channel that repeated every 15 minutes. The repetition was driving me batty! I tried engaging him in other things to prevent hearing the same news/weather over and over and over again. Never seemed to bother him though.

Such a fun game to watch and everyone enjoyed the snow globe effect. Everyone chatting about it and marveling over the peeps taking care of the field. And how hard it was to even see the ball. Was a real kick to watch and enjoy the camaraderie in the moment.

Most excellent game!
