...needs to get its act together quickly! They have a good test this weekend with the Saints coming to town.
Defense was looking okay this year.....losing Wilfork and Kelley, the tackles is going to hurt. 2 free agent rookies cannot fill the hole.

(29,351 posts)It is funny, statistically Tom Brady is a much better QB than he was when he won Super Bowls. Pats D, especially pass D was terrific in those years. Now that Brady's numbers are down, their pass D jumps inside the top 10 once again.

(871 posts)The Defense has lost their interior line. Pass d will pay the price too.

One article I read said they are managing to win games using the football equivalent of spare parts and duct tape.
Still too many dropped catches.
Still too many holes in the offensive line allowing Brady to be bludgeoned.
Although little by little, it seems to be getting better. Very little by little.
Injuries...no good.

(871 posts)No doubt a lot of injuries the past 2 weeks. Hope Talib is back this week. Getting by on spare parts and duct tape is a good description. Theyre running out of depth on their depth chart.
I know it was a joke by some sports blogger who wrote that the Pats could probably draft people out of the audience to play and still win, but if the injuries keep up, that's probably what might happen.
Well, not the audience, but you know what I mean.
I'm really disappointed that Tebow was/is being so stubborn about only wanting to be a QB in the NFL. I think he might have made a decent TE or something.

(871 posts)Tebow, I believe, was too hung up on being QB. He's a super athlete, and probably could have developed in another position.
