Peyton Manning To Keep Record

I guess many here saw this coming, but it was confirmed a few days ago. The NFL will allow Peyton Manning to keep his single season passing record.

For anyone who does not know, or needs a reminder, let me explain. By the last game of the NFL season Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had a chance to break Drew Brees' single season, passing record. It was at first believed that a seven yard pass put Manning one yard past Brees' record. As a result, Manning sat out the second half of the game. After the game it was noticed that Manning's seven yard pass might have been a lateral. If Manning's pass was declared a lateral he would lose his record.
