Power Outage at Candlestick Park

Ack! Been waiting for this game all week!

The power at Candlestick Park. If you’re at the stadium the power should be back up shortly according to the 49ers. Apparently a transformer outside the stadium went down and the city is trying switching to a different power source.

I am amazed more people didn't freak out in the stands when they saw the explosion lights... and the lights went out.

They showed video of it, from inside the stadium, (lighting up the sky above the stands) while they were waiting for the power to come back on. That transformer blow was quite large.

Why is this game not being called after it happens a second time?

70,000 fans in dim light is a high security and safety risk!

couple of high school games, not going to say how long ago that was, where transformers blew and the lights went out. Both happened in rain. It was pretty cool, even though when I heard the explosions I thought I was going to shit myself.
