The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to win a playoff game by at least 20 points after trailing in that game by at least 20 points. And Mahomes is the first player in NFL history with at least 300 passing yards, at least five TD passes and at least 50 rushing yards in a playoff game.

From the AP.

In a couple of other threads people were trashing the Chiefs and Andy Reid. Those people are clearly not paying attention, especially not paying attention to what an incredible quarterback Mahomes is. I think he's just going to continue to get better and better, and this is just the beginning of his career.

Today they play 16 games in a 17 week span by adding a 'Bye' week, and bumped the Super Bowl into February.

that had a limited QB, but strategy and a decent run game (the Titans have an excellent run game that is facing one of the worst teams in the NFL against the run). Don't forget Tannehill, he hit a couple of big bombs against the Patriots and Ravens, he doesn't have to outplay Mahomes, just not make mistakes and hit big plays on occasion.

BTW, the Ravens were sure that the Titans were their Super Bowl run warmup. Now they are focused on tee times in Miami in February.

They didn't get here by being a patsy. And they did take down the Ravens convincingly last week. Henry is a freak of nature at RB, and Tannehill has improved tremendously this season. They beat the Chiefs earlier, but only barely at the buzzer. Mahomes was just coming back from his injury then, and still a little rusty. KC's run defense was horrible then, but has improved with the return of Jones and Clark, the addition of Suggs, and some new thinking by Reid and Spagnuolo. I think they can contain Henry enough now that their awesome offense can score enough to set the Titans back on their heels. And they're playing in friendly Arrowhead Stadium; few teams have the home-field advantage the Chiefs do, IMHO. And my sense is that the Chiefs are a little bit hungrier for the win than the Titans; not sure if that will translate to much advantage, but it might make a little difference.

This is why they play the games and not just talk about them. Good Luck to both teams (but just a LI-i-i-ittle bit more to the CHEEEEFS!!)!
