Helmet targeting should be a reviewable call in the NFL (Original Post) Auggie Jan 2021 OP
Especially when it costs the Browns a TD. dem4decades Jan 2021 #1

I'm guessing the NFL takes another look at that rule in the off-season. Bleacher Creature Jan 2021 #8

Why wasn’t that hit called on that browns player. He directly hit Mahomes helmet with his helmet. Why wasn’t it called and browns player thrown out?

1- Spearing with the helmet
2- Fumbling the ball in the endzone means defense gets automatically? I get it if the D recovers in the EZ, but OOB? Has to be a better outcome than giving it to the defense.

I feel bad for Cleveland because I think they are fueled on emotion. When things turn like that, it becomes negative emotion and impacts their play.

It doesn't help the Browns, but having that happen in such a high-profile game shines a pretty big spotlight on the issue.

Another Chiefs win-barely. They are gonna give me a heart attack if they don’t quit these last few seconds wins!
