The NFL has been investigating Dan Snyder and the Washington Football Team for months following numerous reports of sexual misconduct in the organization that have spanned over a decade. Beth Wilkinson was originally hired by Snyder to do an internal evaluation, but the reins were handed over to the NFL quickly. The report was close to being finished last month, and now we have a possible update on their findings, and it is potentially huge for everyone involved.
The Sports Junkies radio show on 106.7 the Fan says they have obtained information from the report:
The first and foremost recommendation is to force the owner to divest his ownership of the team,
The second recommendation is, and this is direct verbatim from the report, Sports Junkies host Eric Bickel said. Suspend the owner for a significant period to allow the club time to repair its infrastructure and culture. And by the way, that appears to be what theyve been trying to do for the last several months. They brought Julie [Donaldson] in. They brought Jason Wright in. Wholesale changes.

(186,691 posts)It had to. Any investigation has to include this or wouldnt look like its legitimate. WTF fans would love to see him go.
Who could replace him? Really anyone. It doesnt take much to own a NFL franchise. There are a few totally vacant owners. The problem is that the NFL owners want yo show inclusion but fear too strong of a personality. Jerry Jones isnt about to lose power to a Bezos type.
