forty-something quarterback to start an NFL game. I'm a long-time Raider fan and IIRC 43-year-old George Blanda pulled several rabbits our of his hat for five weeks in a row and either passed and/or field goal kicked the Raiders to victory against the Steelers, Chiefs and other formidable opponents back then.
It was quite a sensation then.

(57,598 posts)for years because of the "tuck rule" game (it was a fumble) which got the Pats dynasty going, and now I root for Brady too with Tampa Bay.
And if the Pats don't roar back this year, it looks like it was Brady all along and not Belichick.

(10,002 posts)more and more it looks like Brady might be the key part of history here. It's good to see Gronkowski tagging along too.

(57,598 posts)And I like how Brady got Gronk and Brown back into the game. He knew he needed weapons as he continues his career, outlasting his contemporaries like the Manning brothers, Breeze and Rivers.
I might just have to try that avocado ice cream.
