Related: About this forumNBC's SNF was informing us earlier that the score...
... of the game will be, with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter:
LAR 31
CHI 29
It was surely some kind of glitch, but what a strange thing to happen!
It was displayed as a commercial break was ending, which had followed a turnover-on-downs by the Bears in the 1st quarter. (With approximately 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter.)
After the game telecast was fully back, the current score of 7-0, Rams on top, was displayed again.
I hope this information won't need to be shared in a conspiracy theory forum later.
Kidding, but it was indeed strange!

(15,043 posts)... it looks like it will be very wrong.
I've never seen such a weird glitch like that, though. It was their regular display of scores too, showing exactly 10:00 left in the 4th quarter.

(15,043 posts)... there was actually about 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter.
It was not a display of some other type of game stats either. It was NBC SNF's typical display for the scores, but instead showing 10:00 left in the 4th quarter with the Rams leading 31-29.
Lol, maybe some new guy working for them was tinkering around with it or something?
EDIT: And that exact score looks extremely unlikely now, unless the teams have some TD's with 2-point conversions.

(15,043 posts)And I suspect that you're correct about the Cowboys/Bucs final score! Nice thinking!
I later found an article about what I saw last night:

Fans Think NFL is Rigged After Posting 4th QTR Score of Rams & Bears On Screen (PIC + TWEETS)
Here's what it looked like, with more than 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter and the score at 7-0:
It appeared before some (minimized) commercials ended.
