Eli Mannings hips dont lie.
Its the news you didnt know you needed to know, following the third edition of the Peyton and Eli broadcast between the Manning brothers on "Monday Night Football."
Both quarterbacks were discussing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescotts pregame routine warming up his hips, and it was enough to provoke Eli from getting up from his couch and mimicking the action.
These hips don't lie. I'm like Shakira, Eli said. These hips dont lie, Peyton.
Eli tried his best to show Peyton how the workout helps Prescott open his hips to create torque for his throws.
And Peyton couldnt help himself, getting a joke off at his little brothers expense.
Your boys medium jeans are kinda keeping you from really kinda getting turned, Peyton said.

Love 'em or hate 'em (we love 'em, it's kinda like "the Smothers Brothers do MNF" it looks like they're getting the ratings.

(5,050 posts)but hadn't watched the first two editions. I tuned in last night just to see what all the fuss was about and enjoyed it immensely. They can rag on one another as only two brothers with decades of fighting experience can do. Eli's dancing and bellowing for meatloaf were hysterical, and, I learned some new football terminology, too. Looking forward to the next show in a few weeks.

(63,204 posts)I tried to watch them last week and could not find them.
Peyton had me in stitches the first couple of weeks.
edit to add - I don't even like pro football. Just turned it on to see a couple of brothers let loose on each other.
Really enjoyed Peyton and his other brother on the college bowl this summer.

(10,893 posts)while the network "assessed" but they will be back! People really like them. I would much rather watch them than the other blathering fools. Peyton is funny all by himself, but add Eli and they're hilarious. It's like watching my brothers plus my husband and son-in-law when they get going.

(63,204 posts)His brother was a photographer for ESPN the magazine. He had to do a shoot for a story on Manning for the magazine and invited his little brother (my SIL) along. He said Manning is like that in real life. Very real, humble and funny.
