The thing is, the USC job can be one of the best in the country if you do it right. Unfortunately, nobody has since Pete Carroll.

(17,811 posts)Does USC have great tradition? Absolutely. Do I think LR's offense fits there? Yep it does. I also don't think he rights the ship there, no matter how good that tradition and recruiting base.

(8,353 posts)another good coach there. At USC they have a storied football history ripe for becoming prominent again - a lot of great players in California and a much more desirable area to live. (in my opinion).
