The league ran by Gil Brandt went bankrupt 2/3 of the way thru it's first season.

Unless it will be a developmental league (like the World League of American Football) it has zero -- zero chance to succeed.

Then it will only succeed but NFL owners and GMs can see if guys on the practice squad can develop enough to jettison guys who are big hits on the salary cap but on the tail end of actual production.

5. Will they let Donnie Dumbass be an owner, again?

He could sue the NFL and get them another 3 bucks.

He got into the USFL and talked them into suing because he thought it would get him an NFL franchise. Pete Rozelle told him to his face that he wouldn’t get an NFL franchise as long as Rozelle was commissioner. I have no confidence Roger Goodell would take the same position.

7. Well, he was looking into buying the Bills

after Ralph Wilson's death and Mary Wilson was looking to sell the team.

The best thing that could have happened to the Bills was that Terry Pegula, who also owns the Sabres was approved as the new owner. Pegula is committed to keeping them in Buffalo and they are doing very well.

Hard to imagine NFL team owners approving Trump after he attempted to sue the league back the mid 1980s.

9. It would take much more than just Goodell.

First of all, he doesn't have nearly enough money. The Denver Broncos recently went up for sale and it's expected to bring around $4 billion. Even if he finds the money and gets Goodell's blessing, he still needs a majority of owners to approve the sale. I don't see Jerry Jones even wanting to be in the same room with him.
