So, who's in? Hubby and I played in beta and he was convinced. As a more recent conscriptee to Skyrim, I'm looking forward to us playing an MMORPG together...that hasn't happened in about 3 years.

(13,893 posts)I have participated in five weekend Beta tests as well as this past weekend's unannounced testing of the overflow server. The game is a blast regardless if you're playing casually or competitively.
What faction are you joining? I will be choosing Ebonheart.

(2,312 posts)Imperial Dragon Knight for hubby, Nord Templar for me! And we'll be there Sunday morning too.

(7,942 posts)I was not blown off my feet but I did enjoy the game as did most of my guild. They all have purchased the deluxe edition with all it's perks.
I did not try out the PvP yet and that will be the deciding factor for me. My guild is part of a greater alliance of PvP players that all know each other from the game Warhammer. My only concern with the game is that they did not separate paths for PvE, PvP and crafting. One pool for all three systems will limit play enjoyment for me. If you want to craft and PvP you will get your ass handed to you.

(2,312 posts)...so I don't know what faction we'll be in. And I like PVE; I'm still kind of a chicken about PVP LOL...it is something I've never gotten into. I have really slow reaction times, and I can never come out of a fight with teenagers with a smile on my face.

(16,184 posts)Though I'd love to see how the Dark Brotherhood is implemented. It seems like it could be an interesting mechanic to have a party or player do the Black Sacrament and put out a contract on another.

I'm in. Played the beta, looking forward to this.

(154,021 posts)he said, and I sure hope so, that the game becomes less linear after level ten. Because right now, the graphics are beautiful, but it does feel a tad linear to me. That said, it is entertaining and I might log bag later just to read... those books we have found that I have had no time to read while fighting baddies.

(11,804 posts)But if I dropped WOW I might consider it. Or wait till it goes free to play.
I really have been enjoying GW2 and the regular stream of updates to that game, which is free to play once you buy the original game, so not sure.
