Origin has the digital deluxe for $34.99 right now and it looks like a great game.
Would appreciate input from anyone here that has played the game.

(80,708 posts)I started to play it, but honestly I've been obsessively playing Titanfall and little else.
So can't say. Normally that kind of thing is right up my alley. Like I said, I liked the others in the series.

It is a really long game, at least for me. I have done a ton of stuff on it, I still have 5 dragons to kill out of ten and I think 2 of the main quests left. I have enjoyed it, but I have only played a few PS4 games. Black Flag, Shadow of Mordor, Remastered Last of Us and Tomb Raider, definitive edition. It is a large world, getting a little questy for me now and some of the stuff they just have made hard as hell to find. One thing I hate about it is the limited inventory and trying to keep track of all the weapons and modifications.
I recommend looking at Juicy Bellows response to my question in the thread about Witcher 3 for some more comprehensive comments about Dragon Age.
On edit, I finally finished the main quests. I still have four dragons to go back and kill if I want to, I will probably try. Dayum, that was fun game. Out of the few I have played this ranks as number one.

(2,427 posts)May I also suggest the Witcher series with the excellent 3rd installment that just came out in May. Have you played the earlier Dragon Age games?

(39,961 posts)I played the first two and wanted to play Inquisition - $34.99 is a good price!
Thanks for the heads up.

(2,427 posts)If you have played the earlier games then you really should play through DAI - it's a good game. If you are new to the series then I have to recommend The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt instead. I think it is all around a better game.
Going blind into either one is a win-win but I think your time and money better served with The Witcher 3. Unless Fallout 4 blows us all away (and it damn well might) The Witcher is looking real solid for Game of the Year.
