(1,954 posts)I admit, it's much more fun when you have a group to play with, but even solo-running is solid and adventurous.
And the Dark Zone is everything DayZ should have been; rather than mindless instant KOSing, people work together, bound by hair-thin ties of need for survival. I can't tell you how often I've just thrown caution to the wind to jump in and save a fleeing player from an NPC boss, expecting to be killed on sight but instead, suddenly have a DZ-buddy to roll with for a few hours.
I don't normally pimp full-priced games, but this one's a keeper.

(12,770 posts)I am going to 100 percenting the game first. 100%ing a game is a very bad habit i picked up from CohhCarnage .

(1,954 posts)Right now, we have a team but we're staggered at levels. Two of us are capped at 19 so we don't outpace our level 14 and our level 6, but we're both itching for more. Until they get fully upped, we're running the DZ for both practice and to improve our performance. We've had a few encounters with rogues but they end indecisively, with either a 1/1 split or both groups splitting off with no deaths.
It's been a hell of a ride thus far, I'll say that.
