So I quit SWTOR

because of the story focus. Yesterday I got the routine grovel mail with the survey. There was no option to say you didn't like the story.

It seems they can't even let themselves think that their story might not be the best. I found it lacking and could see that no matter the choices, I would end up where they wanted me. Sorry I don't appreciate being rail-roaded.

At least in WoW you can skim the quest text and do the grunt-work. SWTOR made you go through cut-scenes that chewed up valuable play-time. I dunno. I don't think it will last.

It really seems to defeat the whole purpose of having such an open world game if you can't really 'guide' your own story. Perhaps keep an eye on it as they release expansions and re-join if it opens up more.
