Joysticks - I'm talking 10 button hat switch with rotation and a slider.

I haven't bought one in at least 10 years and could never get one calibrated correctly. PC/Mac USB or bluetooth, I don't care. What's the best current option? I still like playing Mech Warrior (the original) but none of the sticks are accurate enough. My current development box has more than enough horsepower for it but I don't trust any of the joysticks. Recommendations?

On Edit: I'm not into "flight stick" needs, but mechs have almost exactly the same needs.
