I have panniers on my BMW F700 and took the MSF ER class with them on to practice maneuvering. Haven't had any problems yet. What year is you Tiger? It's a nice looking bike. I considered one of those before I purchased my newest.

I love this bike! I took MSF as well. BMW has an adventure riders course I'm going to take too. Probably going to be a while before I get those panniers though. They're going to set me back another 12 large. Bought a 60l waterproof tailbag for the time being. Going to do some camping in Ocitillo Wells next weekend, and the tailbag seems to hold most of my gear.

"Panniers" sounds a whole lot cooler than "side bags" which is what I call the boxes on my BMW (R75/5).

Hopefully, the full helmet saved his noggin. Note to self: park the thing, don't ride on a pier.

Back when I had big boxes on my KTM, my friends always wanted me to go first on single track, claiming I'd knock the low branches out of the way for them.
