Who do you call to move a (dead) motorcycle? A regular car towing service?

I have one sitting in a garage that needs to be moved across town. I'm finished (for now) trying to get it to start.

1. I would call a local motorcycle dealer and ask them.

You can also rent a utility trailer from U-Haul and do it yourself if you have a vehicle that can tow a trailer. Some car towing companies can take them as well as long as they know what they're getting into in advance. Good luck!

2. look for the guys who provide their services

at places like big box stores, home depot, etc.

generally they will haul your bike across town for about $50 - $60. there are two such companies we use often here in naples. they use vehicles like the dodge sprinter equipped with a ramp and all the needed tie downs, and its enclosed. the wrong tow company can be very costly and too often damaging to the bike.
