The airport elevation is already close to the legal altitude limit you can fly in a non-pressurized aircraft without supplemental oxygen. The higher the temperature, the greater the effect will be.

I'm on the flight path for the Cortez airport - don't usually get a lot of small planes, but that was pretty cool.

Which is about 150 miles northeast.
