1. Nope, Trump knows nothing about Christ's teachings

But the best part is that Trump's supporters aren't real Christians, either.

One cannot believe in Jesus' teachings and still support Trump.

Period.

By the way, although I have evolved to be an agnostic, I have studied the Bible and Christianity far more than the charlatans who claim to speak for the carpenter from Nazareth. Simply put, they're full of shit.

2. Evangelicals supporting Trump proves

that they were never about morality and family values. It was all the pursuit of pure, raw political power.
Just like the Tea Party proved they had no real interest in taxes or deficits when they fell in behind him.

Devoted primarily to amassing power and control. Evangelicals are no different, except insofar as they're more open and obvious in their agenda.

8. First off, no two Christians can agree on precisely what those teachings are.

Secondly, since Jesus (if he existed) didn't leave any writings of his own, all we have are what 3rd-hand parties wrote down of the oral stories that came a full generation or two before them.

Thirdly, to automatically label "bad" people as non-Christians is to engage in religious bigotry against non-believers.

So yeah, if Trump claims to be a Christian, he is one.

13. Anytime someone describes a "true" or "actual" Christian, you can be assured nonsense follows

There simply is no such thing. There is simply the literal definition, which generally describes one who follows the teachings of the alleged Christ which is wholly subjective.

If someone identifies as a Christian, then they are a Christian. Those who try to make it more complicated fail right out of the gate.

I don't even think he thinks about God.

Normally I say anyone who says they are Christain is one.
But in Trumps case, he is lying.

He's what Catholics call a practical atheist: he acts like God doesn't exist, though he claims to be a "Christian."
