"I won't have Jesus Christ or God's name taken in vain." said a coworker of mine

'600 unmarked graves and another of 215 bodies'

The latest discovery of graves near Cranbrook, British Columbia follows reports of similar findings at two other such church-run schools, one of more than 600 unmarked graves and another of 215 bodies. Cranbrook is 524 miles (843 kilometers) east of Vancouver.

The Lower Kootenay Band said in a news release that it began using the technology last year to search the site close to the former St. Eugene's Mission School, which was operated by the Catholic Church from 1912 until the early 1970s.
-snip-

From the 19th century until the 1970s, more than 150,000 Indigenous children were forced to attend state-funded Christian boarding schools in an effort to assimilate them into Canadian society. Thousands of children died there of disease and other causes, with many never returned to their families.

Nearly three-quarters of the 130 residential schools were run by Roman Catholic missionary congregations, with others operated by the Presbyterian, Anglican and the United Church of Canada, which today is the largest Protestant denomination in the country.

The Canadian government has acknowledged that physical and sexual abuse was rampant in the schools, with students beaten for speaking their native languages. - NPR

She holds her head righteously high, because she's a good catholic. I doubt she gives such attrocities committed in the name of her religion a second thought as she casts swords at people taking the lord's name in vain.

It depends on how far she takes it if the person says it again.

If the person walks past her desk everyday and says it. I’m sure she’d have a case. If a person lets it slip then perhaps not. She’s asked for it not to be said so it sounds like she’s getting her ducks in a row.

Reconsider the Catholic Church. But we all know that’s not gonna happen.

She sounds like all the other Catholics I know.

3. Always wonder how these people don't realize that sometimes Satan works using god's name in vain.

I tell them that the forces of evil they so believe in are always working on their personal faith. Leading priests to pedophilia and secret families.

Satan May have more minions than godly Christians. After all, so many more of us are supposedly going to hell.

Given that God created Satan and it's all part of an omnipotent, omniscient being's ineffable plan, Satan and all of us must be doing exactly what they knew we would from before they created us. In other words all the evil that we do is part of that plan. Kinda sucks.
