They think god made a mistake and they are there to fix it.

The Bible doesn't even say anything about non-binary people or trans people. But it doesn't mention flowers, which have both male and female parts. It also mentions frogs, which can change their sex.

But the right wing is here to tell us all that god made a mistake and really meant to only have exactly 2 immutable sexes but somehow god screwed up in species after species.


Hogwash, of course. The right wing took a convenient simplification and turned it into an inviolable law for no good reason.

Why can't they look at nature and think maybe god meant to create exactly what was created?

god or no god, the notion that:

male = man = xy chromosomes = outie gentalia = attraction to women = masculine personality traits and habits
AND
female = woman = xx chromosomes = innie genetalia = attraction to men = feminine personality traits and habits

is a convenient simplification that covers a large majority of cases. but it never covered all cases and just because it applies in *most* cases is no reason at all for saying the government or society should coercively enforce it in all cases.

there is nothing Christian about their beliefs. They quote the Old Testament, not the Testament of Christ.

Anyone can claim to be anything. Witness Trump, Santos and every one from Fox News but we all know what liars they are. So a better term would be "Alleged Christians" or "Pseudo-Christians" or "Christ-free Christians". If they don't profess the love Christ talked about then they are not Christians in any manner, shape or form. There are wonderful real Christians out there that take to heart "love your neighbor as yourself" and how Christ explained in His parable who one's neighbor really was.
