Haven't been here for a while but I had a question.
I have become a big MCU Loki fan. I have read the stories about the Norse God as well.
Have ran into things where long time worshippers have a beef with people saying that they are spouses of Loki and are acting like this makes them better than the long time believers. Mind you, apparantly these folks that has recently started saying that they are god spouses (I believe that's the term) have only been worshiping because they saw the movie Thor and the following movies.
Those long time followers seem really upset and I came here to try to find out if this is really something or not. And to hear from those really in the know.
Thank you in advance.

(158,122 posts)Back in my comic book days, I was a DC fan. Disney/Marvel has done a wonderful job with the MCU and I do not care how faithful these shows are to the comic books.
I also enjoyed the Loki Disney+ series and have enjoyed What If

I can totally understand why the worshippers of the Norse Gods are upset. But the MCU fans can't seem to understand.
Hopefully with the new movies coming out things will blow over as the....odd fans get distracted.
