Woah. Somebody remind me what's been going on with Neptune and Chiron this past fall.

From the world of totally amazing good news for once, three women who I never thought would do anything other than hate each other finally seem to be mending fences.

No, this is not about anyone in my family or any friend of mine, exactly. Just three people who have hated (as in loathed and despised) each other for the better part of an entire decade mutually deciding a couple of months back to start burying the hatchet. Or maybe that should be hatchets since each had a few axes to grind regarding a series of extreme disagreement and, er, legal stuff.

It's been a truly stunning healing to witness (whole thing has been played out over their blogs) and I hope it continues toward the best possible conclusion. (All are getting some form of therapy and have actually decided to unite in their quest to heal up from the trauma; something I thought was impossible for this crowd.)

So...could it be Neptune/Chiron issue? The start of this process was in mid-October (October 11th, I think) and seemed to really "take" on November 26th.

Mostly, I'm just glad to see these folks doing what they can to patch things up. It has been a long time coming and again, I thought they were all too far gone to forgive each other.

My friend is getting along with her mother-in-law now. This is not meant as a joke. My friend is a vegetarian and Buddhist. The mother-in-law used to eat meat twice a day and was a practicing Catholic. The mother-in-law is now going vegetarian and has started to attend Buddhist services with my friend and her husband.

Never in a million years did I think that the mother-in-law would change so drastically and it happened in just a couple of months.

Catholic carnivore to...Buddhist? That's a big turn around.

I really feel the healing for the women I mention above had to have been at least partially metaphysical. Because as bad as their resentments were, I think they were beyond their own capacity to heal independently. Their decision to move on feels (to me) like it got a boost from something.
