Wierd letter in the mail yesterday from the lab where I work...

I half expected it to be them terminating me by mail. Instead it was a job offer. This is the weirdest offer I've ever had in my life. Because, um, I already work there.

It didn't mention shifts, of which there are 4 basic possibilities. It didn't mention hours. It didn't mention salary. Just by signing and returning I'm accepting their offer of employment. Which I thought I already was

It said if I had any questions to call my supervisor. Um, you'd think the supervisor would set up a meeting with me and make a verbal offer. Most unprofessional outfit I think I've ever worked at. Including the mom&pop shop that poisoned their new employees.

In the meantime, I had my 1st annual review at my other part time job. Met or exceeded all expectations. On track to become a peer trainer in the fall.

They probably just need it for your HR file. They are closed when you're there, right? I would call them rather than your supervisor. That's what she will have to do.

Grats on the review. That's got to feel good.
