So where are our predictions?

Here's one from me:

The republicans are going down in flames....
I sense the president will re-take the white house.
I sense the economy is creeping back upward..

AND many of the extreme congress critters will be picked off
by angry, betrayed constituents.

I don't have a sense the dems will take control of congress,
but the republican majority will be thinned..

Senate? We shall see.

4. I like what your seeing.

I hope for that , we have to move toward a more progressive government. It's gone so far right, it has to start pulling the other way. I'm glad you see us heading towards that.

5. From my "DU safe" (like dolphin safe) collection of predictions:

The serious: flu epidemic in 2012. Plan accordingly.

Democrats keep the White House. And the Senate. Not sure what will happen with the House.

Occupy Wall Street may return in the Spring. Not sure for how long, though.

Big changes at DemocraticUnderground, which may wind up under new management soon.


The silly: I think Brad and Ange may finally split in 2012. I have a not so great feeling about some other celebrities next year...including one "shocking" celebrity death, possibly Ms. Winfrey (which would suck, I still like Oprah.)

I didn't mean to imply that OWS was totally "done" either for winter or for the future, just that the initial wave had crested (for now.)

I'm actually going to an information/discussion event re: OWS in my neck of the woods in a few days.

8. And pardon me, I don't mean to slight but I have not developed a light touch...yet...

I agree with some of what you are saying in your predictions...perhaps what you're seeing is that the camps are done and now in addition to being leaderless, it is locationless. There -are- less people around than at the beginning but they are the most dedicated ones. The police will continue to attempt to beat it into nothingness, but this only increases determination.
