I have done a lot of institutional care in my life. The units were always high during a full moon. We dreaded it.

Even our severely and profoundly mentality disabled kids were restless and they had no clue what moon phase it was.

and my son in law, a deputy sheriff, agrees, as I recall. I'm always concerned about people driving on those days. Coming up Saturday.

I'll bet everything from jail behavior to a rise in crime and domestic violence all rise during the full moon. It's not a coincidence.

There have been a lot of road accidents this week in our area, some fatal; and there was a chainsaw murder-suicide in a nearby county.

(Unique use of a sharp object.)
Who, I repeat, WHO would commit suicide w/a chainsaw!
I looked up that article & was so saddened to read that their 14 yo child is who found them. Horrible.
Full moons eclipses are powerful events, for sure.

I used to be a paramedic. Everything would escalate the week before the full moon, with the craziest stuff happening the night of. Then as soon as that night was over it would just go back to normal.

Edit to say more babies born then too. I always win date guessing pools, I just look up the time of the closest full moon to the due date.
