(6,096 posts)He has not been right for 3 years or however long this crap has been going on...so I cannot
supoort this stuff anymore.
Ifelll for it at first...HOPING WE could really know something....
but I am sorry if anyone feels bad about me feeling this way... but this has to be a scam.
moonbeam23
(339 posts)but probably sincere delusion...there is very little "channeling" that i take seriously anymore...
It seems like the probable futures are way too fluid nowadays to make solid predictions...

(23,156 posts)I'm not sure that the messages are an actual scam, but much of the time they make little sense, and there will be grandiose predictions about things, such as extra terrestrials contacting us, a prediction made a number of times over a period of months, and then the prediction just faded away. Plus all the nonsense about the illuminati and dark forces and entities visiting this "plane of existence" to, I don't know, help us out in some way. Or hurt us. Sometimes it's not very clear.

(6,096 posts)card carrying member of the Illuminati??????????
Is the Illuminati real???
Can you help me out here?????? I am ready to learn.....something today.
I'm not at liberty to answer those questions. But, bury $3125 in your back yard and if you qualify someone will contact you.

(18,775 posts)But I've always sort of liked it as fiction. I'm not being sarcastic. I find the tone sort of endearingly good hearted and it's kind of entertaining as sci-fi.

(5,562 posts)decorating the house. How about you?
If anyone is interested in spite of the reception it got last time, there is a new Matthew at the link.

(15,888 posts)I'm spending my time working around the house. Been getting bad internet service lately. Our telephone has no dialtone, but somehow, the wifi still works. Called Century Link to see about getting it fixed and they said somebody might come by the house on the 16th! Going to look for another provider, especially since I'm doing another term on the MIR team.

I rec some of your threads in your groups from time to time, so I am reading elsewhere around this particular segment of DU. Still the "Religion & Spirituality" section is rather inactive, save for the usual places. Interfaith is getting a few more people showing up, so we've had a little bit of renewed interest there.
And as I've been listening to Rupert Sheldrake audios lately, I wanted to share them at the one group most likely to appreciate them

(15,888 posts)I've been doing alright. Thank you for the recs! The collective memory thing sounds like a hoot. I've often thought along those line back in the 80's, only never had another word for it. I must look into those when I get a better internet connection. I've also been spending a large amount of time trying to do the Zazzle thing since October. I keep coming up with a new design, put it on ten items and then move on. That is, until Century Link started this lousy service crap! If you wish for the address to my 'store' just PM me. I don't want it posted here as I am doing MIRT terms and it would be conflicting.
I've tried posting a bit in the Religion group, but those discussions get a bit too heated for my taste. Anyway, it's good to see you again!
kentauros
(29,414 posts)so try out Interfaith instead. No heated "discussions" there (that is, some may get heated, but civility remains without nastiness.)
Sure, I wouldn't mind looking at your store. What's Century Link? I've had some t-shirts designs in mind, but have neither finished any nor researched places to post them (I will likely use RedBubble on some.)
Oh, and I'm only on DSL yet can hear the Sheldrake recordings without buffering. They must have made sure that they were well-compressed.
Good to see you again, too!
icymist
(15,888 posts)We may be switching from them, but not until after the Holidays. I'm getting awfully tired of spending a premium for sub-par service! It's hard to put up anything on my store with this internet crapping out -> went down to 1mbps this morning! ONE! Dialup is faster! And then sometimes it gets knocked out completely. Like right in the middle of posting something I find I am suddenly no longer connected.
Oh well. That's what I've been going through. I'll PM you soon.

(29,414 posts)I'm lucky if I can even get up to that!
Until the landlord gets cable wired here, we're all stuck with either DSL or whatever people get over their smartphones. A neighbor tried Uverse and got rid of it soon after. He'd said it wasn't much faster than DSL. That's understandable because the phone lines here are still twisted wire...
I hope you get the kind of Internet connection you need
